EMFACE® Pre-Care Instructions
- On the day of the treatment, we advise you to wear comfortable clothing.
- We advise against wearing any metallic accessories and electronic devices as those will need to be removed before treatment.
- The treatment area should be free of hair. Please shave the area before treatment.
- Hydration is super important pre and post-treatment. Drink lots of water throughout the course of treatment.
Anyone who is over the age of 22 is a good candidate. EmFace is not suitable for patients with pacemakers, defibrillators, or any implanted electronic devices. And, patients who are pregnant and/or nursing.
You will feel consistent tightening of the muscle, and very comfortable warmth, but should not feel any pain or discomfort.
Results can happen anytime throughout your treatment plan, but ultimate results are achieved 4-6 weeks after final treatment when the muscle, collagen and elastin has had time to develop.
There is no downtime afterwards! Just remember to stay hydrated throughout the course of treatment.
