RF Microneedling

Radiofrequency microneedling is a procedure that employs small needles and radiofrequency waves to revitalize the skin on the face. This procedure involves inducing controlled damage to the skin, prompting the development of new, healthy skin cells. It is particularly beneficial for addressing common skin concerns such as acne scars and wrinkles.

RF Microneedling

triLift™ combines radio frequency energy with microneedling to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating natural production of collagen and elastin, tightening the skin and improving texture. The RF energy penetrates deeply, producing faster and more dramatic results than traditional microneedling.

The RF energy heats the underlying layers of skin, causing constriction and tightening of the skin, as well as the stimulation of collagen and elastin production. Because the RF energy is delivered so deeply, it can produce faster results that are more dramatic.

triLift treatments are not for patients with pacemakers, defibrillators, or any implanted electronic devices, as well as metal implants in the treatment area. triLift treatments are not for those who are pregnant and/or nursing; under the age of 18; had recent injectable services like botox, filler or threads, severe conditions such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, herpes triggered by heat, uncontrolled diabetes or seizure disorders, severe bleeding disorders, or chronic skin conditions in the treatment area; nerve damage that would prevent sensing heat or discomfort; tattoos or permanent makeup in the treatment area; or currently or recently taking Accutane (isotretinoin). 3-7 days downtime.

Results will differ per individual. Usually patients can see significant results after 3 sessions.

We recommend a total of 3-6 treatments. These treatments are spaced out every 4-6 weeks.

  • As long as side effects are present (redness, micro scabs), stay out of the sun.
  • Apply sun block (SPF 30+) several times a day but only after 24 hours
  • Avoid excessive heat exposure. This could exacerbate facial redness or swelling as well as cause irritation.
  • Sweating could increase your risk of bacteria exposure, making you more susceptible to infection.
  • Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours. After the 24-hour period, you’ll be able to apply mineral based makeup to your face.
  • Avoid treatments like chemical peels, facials, and face waxing for two weeks.
