How does it work?

Is it painful?

We will always apply a topical numbing cream before treatment and use air cooling during treatment.

You may experience a warm or pricking sensation as the laser is applied to the skin.

Is there any downtime?

Right after treatment, most patients may experience some redness and slight to moderate swelling for 1-3 days. Skin may begin to shed after the second day post-treatment.

What's the post-care?

Most patients will experience a redness for 1-3 days. Slight to moderate swelling and a mild to moderate sunburn sensation (sandpaper feel) are also common post treatment and may last 1-3 days. Avoid strenuous physical activity until redness and swelling subsided. Avoid use of physical or chemical exfoliants for at least 7-14 days following treatment.
